The DAV Thrift Stores rely on your donations to be able to operate successfully and raise money for the Disabled American Veterans and other charitable causes.

Donations are accepted at all locations during store hours.

The driver will look for your donation from the street.  Please put it out, where it is clearly visible from the street, by 8:00 a.m.

Items not picked up by DAV Drivers

1. No washers, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, stoves, stove inserts, oven inserts, dishwashers or any other large appliance.
2. No building materials including interior doors, exterior doors, shower doors, or window screens.
3. No damaged furniture.  All furniture is at driver’s discretion@  It cannot have any rips, tears, stains, broken or missing pieces, excessive pet fur, water damage or rust.  It must be outside at ground level.
4. No press wood furniture that is damaged in any way.
5. No sand filled weight sets or weight bences—absolutely no workout stations!!
6. No rusted, broken or damaged exercise equipment.
7. no rusty or excessively dirty barbecue grills, rusty outdoor furniture, or propane tanks.
8. No waterbeds, parts or pieces there of.
9. No rusty or damaged bicycles.  All bicycles have to be in riding condition.
10. No paint, gasoline, oil, paint thinners, or other chemicals.
11. No hospital beds.
12. Computers older than three years.
13. No copy machines.
14. No automotive tires or parts.
15. No large outdoor swing sets.
16. No air conditioners.
17. No infant car seats, play pens, cribs, swings, or walkers.
18. No console televisions or console stereos.
19. No bicycle or motorcycle helmets.
20. No motorcycle repair parts.
21. No room-size carpeting such as wall to wall.
22. Absolutely no money will be accepted!!!!
23. No pianos or large organs.
24. No metal desks.
25. We will under no circumstance pick up after an eviction for any reason.
26. We do not pick up at storage units.
27. No microwaves.
28. No encyclopedias.
29. No ping pong tables.
